Refund & cancellation policy

This policy applies to consulting fees paid to APIQuartz (Pty) Ltd for REST API design reviews, integration consulting days, and webhook reviews. It does not cover third-party costs (travel, paid tools) which are invoiced at cost when pre-approved.

Deposits

Design reviews and webhook reviews require a fifty percent deposit to hold the calendar slot. Integration consulting may be invoiced after delivery unless the SOW requires prepayment.

Cancellation by you

• More than ten business days before the scheduled start: full refund of deposit minus any bank charges, or transfer to a new date within six months.
• Five to ten business days before start: fifty percent of the deposit is refundable; the remainder covers reserved capacity.
• Fewer than five business days before start, or after materials intake begins: deposit is non-refundable because review work may already be in progress.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least five business days in advance and a new slot is available within thirty days. Additional moves may incur a R 2 500 administrative fee.

No-shows

If you miss a scheduled readout or kickoff without notice, we will offer one replacement session within fourteen days. A second missed session is treated as delivered for billing purposes.

Cancellation by APIQuartz

If we must cancel (illness, conflict of interest discovered after intake), you receive a full refund of unused fees within fourteen business days or we substitute another qualified consultant with your approval.

Work already performed

Partial refunds are not available once the written report or day’s integration notes are delivered. If you terminate mid-engagement, you owe fees for days worked and any non-recoverable expenses.

Quality concerns

If deliverables materially omit agreed scope, notify us within ten business days of delivery. We will remedy at no charge or agree a partial credit. Subjective disagreement with recommendations is not grounds for refund if scope was met.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are paid to the original payer by EFT within fourteen business days of approval. Card payments are not accepted on this site.

Consumer rights

Nothing here limits rights under the Consumer Protection Act where you qualify as a consumer purchasing services in South Africa.
